This 1973 Innocenti 1001 is a rare find in an exceptional condition. Found in the heart of Montepulciano, a beautiful town right in the heart of Tuscany.
We bought the car from Fransesco, a true classic car lover and heart surgeon. He says it is still a ‘one’ owner car as he only took care of her, not used it!
The care has been quite thoroughly with a full respray 10 years ago in the original Castoro brown together with an old english white roof, last 2 to 3 years the technical bits got overhauled with a revised carb, new brakes, belts and even an engine out job to do the rubbers of the driveshafts and gearbox seals.
The body is completely original and in unseen condition. If you were to flip her over, she would still be just as impressive.
The car features 10-inch aluminum wheels, repainted and fitted with rally tires. The interior includes a genuine MOMO steering wheel, wooden gear knob, 3 clock binnacle and all the other innconti bits as could be found here. The seats are in great shape, and the overall feel is that of classic Italian luxury.
