Meet the Mini you didn't know existed. A 92' Mini-Matic from a short window in time: the 1.3 automatic gearbox had arrived, the SPi injection had not. So she is one of the first 1275cc automatics and at the same time one of the very last on a carb, a HIF38. Around 150 were made, and far fewer are left. Left-hand drive on top of that, where almost every automatic went to Japan with its wheel on the right.
She was delivered in France and we found her in the Apennine mountains just east of Rome, with a family company that put up road signs. Almost the whole family came to say goodbye, and to give their opinion on the price, in true Italian spirit. The dry climate kept her body good: in the wheel arches you still see the original paint.
In our workshop she got a full service, extra rust proofing on the known spots, white leather seats with white stitching and extra sound deadening. Sold in Holland.
