This 54-year-old 'Millésime' looks as if she has driven straight out of the original owner's manual. While most Mini's have been modified or restored over the decades, this Innocenti still wears her original paintwork with immense pride.
The name Millésime was not chosen by chance. Much like an distinquished wine from a top year, this Mini hasn't just survived time, she has gained character along the way. She's pure, unblended and possessing a patina that simply cannot be replicated.

Millésime; I think we can say this is the most truly well kept Innocenti 1001 Export's we've had. Complete with all the original delivery papers and service records dating back to the 70's. The paintwork is in a real good condition, especially as you look up her age, she's almost 54 Years old! She still shows off all the original factory 'imperfections' proudly, making clear that this car is never been messed with. The panel gaps match, spot welds in the roof gutter look perfectly sound and the 'Rosso IN 304' still shines as bright as ever.

From the papers it seems she never missed a service. originally manufactured on 4 October 1972 she had to wait for her delivery till 23 June 73'. After that the first bit of mileage started to count, with allready 1627km on the record on 11th of July 73' at her first "SERVIZIO GRATUITO". The records show she hit the first 15.000km still in the 70's before getting transfered ownership on 25 February 1984. From here on she's been real good cared for. Records of 'revisions' showing the car has been kept going through the 90's and 00's with only a gap appearing within the 10's till the 20's. Fast forward till this day she's done a bare 44.967 km on the clock of which I've done myself 1300km…

And what a 1300km that has been, This car is a true joy to drive and so well balanced. It's the most fuel efficient Mini I've ever had with an average consumption of over 1:18! This only underlines how well-balanced this engine is and that she runs without any wear and tear, if you get into touch I’ll most probably send you through my video of touring through the north of Italy with this thing.
The engine is the same as the 998cc COOPER MK2 engine delivered in the english variant.

The car still retains the original “Nero” Innocenti 1001 interior. Only the front carpet has been replaced to a rubber one which they are very fond of in Italy. The interior of these Innocenti's always reflects Italian fine craftsmanship and luxury. Did you know the Italian ashtrays were bigger than the English ones? Or that the front quarter windows were there specifically to let cigarette smoke out while driving? The Wooden dashboard, original BLAUPUNKT and fully functional radio makes this an enjoyable place to be.
