Bought from an old lady

Original Paint. Original Owner. Only 36,500 Kilometers.
Forget faded photos; this is a literal trip back to 1983. This Mini, affectionately called Rosie, is the kind of opportunity collectors dream about and nostalgia seekers crave. She is a true rarity: completely original, unrestored, and having covered just 36,500 kilometers in her quiet life. Such purity only comes from exceptional care, and Rosie received it from her sole, dedicated female owner who kept her sheltered and loved.

A bright red vintage car parked on a winding road, surrounded by lush green trees and a clear blue sky.

Rosie was originally delivered to the French-speaking part of Belgium and has led a uniquely sheltered life. This history is crucial because it defines her preserved state. What truly distinguishes her is her unseen originality resulting in details that take you straight back to the street scenes of the 1980s: the original striping, the authentic absence of a right-side exterior mirror, and the factory-correct contrast between the subtle chrome accents and black bumpers.

Her interior is just as untouched as the day she rolled off the line. The upholstery, dashboard, and carpet are exactly as intended—a compact and charming space that breathes pure, nostalgia. It is a tactile experience, feeling the exact textures and seeing the exact colours intended by the factory nearly four decades ago. Even the original stickers on the switches are still present and correspond perfectly with the notes in the original handbook.

Rosie shines in her original Flamenco Red color. The bodywork is entirely free from rust, a testament to her gentle life. Her interior is just as untouched as the day she rolled off the line. Under the bonnet is the reliable 998cc engine, which runs as smoothly as a sewing machine and delivers a guaranteed smile. With only 36,500 kilometers on the clock, the mechanics still feel absolutely fresh. And yes, it’s an automatic—but definitely not boring! This old-fashioned automatic is not a high-tech 8-speed box; it’s a unique driving experience in itself and here at Brooks we absolutely love the Mini-Matic driving experience; expect something special!
Recently, comprehensive maintenance ensures Rosie is in top form, with the brakes, cooling system, water pump, oil, valves, etc., all checked and/or replaced.
