Our take on the 'BrooksPack'

Our take on the 'BrooksPack'

The ultimate Mini MPi, a restomod that brings her right into the modern age. She’s interesting from every angle again. For us, it’s important to maintain that OEM feel while adding class through the use of the very best classic parts alongside highly uprated, newly machined components. We’re always searching for the best of the best.

Respecting the original Mini design language while modernising its proportions and details sits at the heart of every BrooksPack build. The BrooksPack is our vision of what the ultimate MPi should have been, combining classic Mini character with refined luxury and modern engineering.

No two BrooksPack Minis will ever be the same. We don’t believe in catalogues. A catalogue implies that someone else has already decided what your Mini should look like, and that’s not how we work. For us, every Mini is like a blank canvas, an opportunity to translate ideas, emotions and stories into a machine that is truly unique.

The BrooksPack styling combines clean classic Mini lines with a modern and aggressive stance. Wider wheel arches allow for the larger 13" Rimco Bronze rims, while the lowered skirts around the car give it a modern yet aggressive look and stance.

The front lights are a perfect example of the approach, taking the clean classic look from the early Minis and bringing it onto a later Mini, combining modern design with classic styling.

The stickers are a nice touch to both her history and future. The John Cooper name is a tribute to the man who brought the classic Mini to great heights, as without him it would have simply remained another small classic car among many others. It’s important to keep that heritage in mind and complement it accordingly.

The stickers therefore combine classic inspiration with a more modern look, designed to match the styling of the car while still reflecting how these cars would have been personalised back in the day, taking inspiration from the past while preparing it for the future.

The combination of an open-roof MPi with this interior is virtually non-existent. In the interior we find these beautiful ‘Balmoral Stone Beige’ coloured seats, featuring an extraordinary Pepita-style pattern inspired by the 60’s and 70’s Porsche interiors, giving the car a timeless yet distinctive character.

The floors are fitted with the last available dark green NOS carpet from England, complete with the original stickers still attached. The dashboard is painted in the same British Racing Green as the exterior, exactly how the Mk1 Minis had it back in the day. The doors are fitted with CNC-machined, black anodised door handles, while the roofliner has been replaced in black, including the electric folding sunroof trim as well.
