Some cars look as if they just rolled off the showroom floor. With this one, that is almost literally what happened. This Cabrioni Monte Carlo stood on the 1991 AutoRAI as Cabrioni's own show car, was sold from the stand by the official Mini dealer in Rotterdam, and stayed with that one owner ever since. Indoors, started now and then, never really driven. 3.620 km.
Cabrioni was built by hand in Huissen, between 1989 and 1995, and earned the name the Rolls Royce of Mini convertibles. Around 300 were made, the Monte Carlo was the flagship: wooden dashboard, fine upholstery, a manual roof that closes perfectly. In 1994 the magazine British Cars rated it above the Rover convertible, "sans contestes le plus craquant".
Original paint, original everything. Not restored, a survivor. Sold in Holland.
